The U.S. Navy Surface Force Integrated Combat System (ICS) Systems Engineering & Software Integration (SESI) contract transitions the development and delivery of the ICS and aligns the organization, processes, resources and acquisition strategy to develop a common tailorable ICS with focused effort. The surface combat system capability will be modified to support meeting Surface Force capability needs, to provide a multi-platform Combat System-of-Systems (CSoS) ICS capability, evolve its combat system development, integration, and delivery lifecycle into a "DEVelop-SECure-OPerationS" (DEVSECOPS) methodology in order to foster collaborative learning and collaborative relationships between development and operations to become lean, Agile, and capable of responding rapidly to changing technological demands.

This position will assist the Government in maintaining and sustaining The Forge (a Government furnished virtual and physical ecosystem to foster Agile software development using DEVSECOPS tools and principles) Platform as a Service (PaaS) to avoid Platform Drift from the Forge at the Contractor's testing site, inclusive of the PaaS Software Development Kit (SDK), Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) SDK, and CI/CD pipeline.

Essential Job Functions:

Communicate and collaborate directly with the Forge personnel and respective Government Product Owner (GPO) on PaaS matters pertaining to this contract.

Assist the Forge Platform System Managers with all PaaS related issues and collaborate with other contractor Platform System Managers at The Forge.

Utilize the Forge PaaS and development tools, to the maximum extent possible, in order to implement DEVSECOPS and Agile systems engineering, software integration, and test while adhering to The Forge Survival Guide.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering plus 5 years of experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience functioning as an IT Systems Engineer.

Adept understanding of cloud computing, virtualization technologies, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS delivery models.

Direct experience with upgrades, migrations, and integration of developmental and tactical platform environments and CI/CD pipelines.

DoD SECRET Security Clearance, eligible for TS/SCI.
