Façade Energy Modeler/ Asst Project Manager 1 Perm F-T Position is open & available at Glass Project Resource Inc, located at 22365 Broderick Dr, Ste 300, Sterling, VA 20166, M-F 8:00 a.m. - 5 p.m.. Conduct heat transfer simulations & analysis using LBNL/WGD programs; Model & prepare thermal reports; analyze heat transfer effects & prepare reports on structural loading using Cbeam/Hilti; review drawings & construction to ensure compliance with plans & specs; review & modify plans with CAD software; prepare proposals, take-offs and RFIs; conduct site visits; prepare and track punch list/closeout docs; organize procurement activities & installation schedules; Requires Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering; working knowledge of CAD; LBN-Therm; LBNL-Window, Hilti Profils, Cbeam; and Window Glass Design (WGD); competency in Microsoft Office Suite apps; competency in statics and thermal analysis; OSHA certified, preferred.
