Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with an education nonprofit seeking a Placement Advisor to supporting with their international student program. If you bring interpersonal skills and admissions experience with higher education supporting international students, apply now!

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct review of applications to ensure meeting program requirements
  • Research various programs for students, targeting their field of study and identifying options to match priorities
  • Advise students on academic options, submission plans and manage application process
  • Maintain relationships with university departments and programs
  • Review portfolios/work samples as needed
  • Serve as student advocate
  • Manage correspondence between schools and students, respond to inquiries and troubleshoot issues
  • Maintain admission and financial data, monitoring accuracy
  • Generate admissions reports for stakeholders

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Min 2 years' related experience
  • Knowledge of higher education and admissions processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Proficiency with web and database software, as well as social media networks preferred
