Adventist Home Assistance seeks to hire an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant for our Home Care Division who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As Adventist Home Assistance Custodian Caregiver you will:
• Perform various service duties and routine technical tasks such as vital signs and activities of daily living under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Certified Nursing Assistants adhere to the written care plan instructions issued by the Clinical Nurse while also striving to advance their own knowledge and skills through careful feedback and guidance provided by the Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Serve as AHA ambassadors in patient's home and are expected to use best practices in patient care.
• CNA should demonstrate professionalism, adhere to AHA standards of practice, and exemplify the Adventist HealthCare values as they fulfill our nursing mission and vision.
• The ability to use equipment and technology correctly, to provide excellent service to patients, and to maximize patient satisfaction are key CNA role.

Qualifications include:
• Valid Maryland Board of Nursing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Valid American Heart Association BLS/CPR Certification
• Valid First Aid Certification
• CNAs with a year or more of experience after certification required
• Valid Maryland Board of Nursing Certified Medication Technician/Certified
• Medication Aide (CMT/CMA) preferred
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable method of transportation required.

Work Schedule:

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week and 2 weekends a month

• Able to start as early as 7:00am and end as late as 8:00pm

• Must have the ability to see various clients in a shift in rotating areas.
