Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Business Development-Director to support business development, capture management and strategy for Federal contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Support contract capture strategy including identifying target clients, developing and building client and teaming partner relationships, working with MIL Vice Presidents to shape opportunities and developing strategic teaming partners
  • Support MIL current capabilities and recommending emerging capabilities,
  • Identify and support access to strategic contract vehicles
  • Conduct detailed research on both publicly available and internal databases based on factors including, potential contract value, competitive environment, company capabilities, existing contracts, relationships and other factors.
  • Help identify best teaming partners for each opportunity based on factors such as company relationships, small business certifications, experience, capabilities and other factors
  • Support partnering strategies such as joint ventures, mentor/protégé relationships, CTAs and other contractual relationships.
  • Perform Pwin and Pvalue analyses to determine contract opportunities to focus on
  • Recommend capabilities to develop, partnerships to establish and campaigns to maximize MIL's brand identity in target areas such as financial systems modernization, RPA/AI, cloud based services and platforms and financial management/internal controls
  • Support branding and networking via professional associations such as AGA, ACT/IAC and AFERM
  • Recommend and implement improved capture tools, technologies, and service
  • Analyze RFIs and RFPs to quickly determine bid/no-bid decision and the right bid strategy/team

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience capturing and winning government contracts
  • Strategic planning, market analysis and competitive environment analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent relationship building and networking skills
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Coaching and leadership skills
