Member Engagement Assistant (MEA) will assist CREC in accomplishing its mission by supporting the organization’s networks. This position will coordinate all activities in collaboration with senior and program assistant staff for designated projects, including work with CREC’s affiliated organizations as well as to fulfill existing or anticipated contracts with federal or state economic and workforce development agencies and/or with private foundations. The MEA will also help ensure that CREC and its affiliate associations effectively engage in an ongoing dialogue with its members, clients, and potential clients.
Capabilities & Responsibilities:
Contributing and assist with all communications: including but not limited to newsletters, website updates, blogs, and social media posts
Assisting in the implementation of events, including trainings, conferences, and webinars (both virtual and in-person)
Coordinate and provide staff support for scheduling meetings and managing calendars
Coordinate board, committee, and project meetings in support of associations and program staff
Create and edit standardized documents, contracts, and invoices in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF for review by staff
Demonstrate both an ability to juggle multiple tasks as well as highly effective time and project management skills
Provide other support as needed to staff in a positive and enthusiastic manner
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Have a Bachelor's degree in related field or an associate’s degree or at least 2 years of administrative experience
Be experienced with Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and Adobe PDF
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Maintain the ability to consistently follow-up with others as needed
Permission to work in the U.S. is required
Preference will be given to bilingual, Spanish-speaking candidates
Highly effective time and project management skills, with the ability to organize, prioritize, coordinate, and implement multiple projects
