Program Manager for Customer Management and Authorizations Portfolio

The Program Manager is responsible for managing the intake, governance and delivery of critical work for the Customer Management and/or Authorizations Platform team in US Card. This role supports our product, technology and process teams coordinating well-managed deliveries across multiple functions and lines of business. This associate will also be responsible for building and maintaining working relationships with line of business management and key associates within Risk Management.

General Responsibilities:
  • Manage large scale program deliveries that impact Customer Management and/or Authorizations Platform (i.e. Partnership Conversions, New Business Launches, Card priorities)
  • Manage intake and prioritization from LOBs requiring horizontal support from the Customer Management and/or Authorizations Platform, coordinating across job disciplines
  • Maintain a governance model to manage the portfolio and facilitate prioritization of most critical initiatives, managing stakeholder community expectations
  • Collaborate with all levels of the organization to monitor and manage the critical path, plan contingencies, facilitate scope changes, and control resource expenditure
  • Report on program and feature delivery progress, managing escalations and impediment resolution
  • Build and maintain high trust relationships with partner teams across the Enterprise to keep abreast of current strategies and manage work in progress
  • Exposure to influencing senior level executives


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in project, program or portfolio management


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or other advanced certifications (CSM, CPO, SAFE)
  • 5+ years of experience in project, program or portfolio management
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services and the consumer credit card industry
  • 1+ years of experience with cloud-based architecture, including Amazon Web Services
