The organization focuses on delivering scale and efficiency, mitigating operational risk, providing a smooth customer experience, and enabling talented associates to excel.

Responsibilities of a Loan Operations team member include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform critical loan- and investor-level loan maintenance in the loan servicing system, such as payoffs, defeasances, customer auto-debits, and investor transfers tied to ongoing loan sales and securitizations.
  • Analyze system exception reports, partner with internal stakeholders to resolve outages, and complete related system maintenance with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Update indexes that fall outside of the automated Bloomberg feed and facilitate changes to index uploads as required by the GSEs or market conditions.
  • Manage payment of post-closing fees to attorneys, investors, and third parties; evaluate documentation to ensure information is complete and required signatures are included.
  • Initiate and support internal reporting and metrics tracking, including tracking project performance and remediation activity.
  • Review and analyze loan documents to ensure accurate loan data.
  • Collaborate with the loan servicing system vendor regarding system issues, version upgrades, and modifications or enhancements.
  • Participate in planning, testing, and implementing projects aimed to streamline and/or automate manual tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer service to Borrowers, Investor contacts, attorneys, auditors, and internal partners.
  • Incorporate Capital One's values into daily tasks and assignments.
