FHA Processing Analyst - Asset Management/Closing

Position: FHA Processing Analyst - Asset Management/ Closing

The FHA Processing Analyst will manage one or more of the centralized asset management processes for collection, tracking and reporting of key surveillance tasks providing an important quality control function to ensure that investor requirements are met and delivered timely. Centralized processes include, but are not limited to, property financial statements, reserve draw disbursements, assumptions & transfers of ownership interest, inspection monitoring, watchlist/ action plan monitoring. This associate will also perform other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the FHA Multifamily and LEAN Asset Management and Closing platform.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Monitor email inbox for process submissions
  • Perform preliminary review to ensure completeness of all required documentation
  • Manage outsourced vendor, if applicable, including compiling and submitting order form information, process vendor invoices and ensuring all vendor due dates are met
  • Contact borrowers and/or operators for missing information
  • Track quarterly and annual financials as well as required action plans to ensure HUD deadlines are met
  • Manage delivery of closing documents
  • Report on status of submissions to Asset Management and Closing staff
  • Learn all asset management and closing systems and applicable bank software applications; continuous learning related to asset management function and commercial real estate


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year of experience in Commercial Real Estate, preferably multifamily
  • Experience and proficiency in Google suite of products and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in high volumes flow with timeliness and accuracy
  • Outstanding writing skills and oral communication ability
