Administrative and Fiscal Assistant (Part-Time) The George Mason University School of Kinesiology invites applications for an Administrative and Fiscal Assistant. About the Department: The School of Kinesiology's (SoK) purpose is to educate high-quality professionals through a variety of innovative experiential learning opportunities to improve the physical performance, health, and well-being of the community across the lifespan. We do this by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and using evidence based-practices to develop professional leaders.Responsibilities: Process travel requests; Process student forms; Manage the SOK listservs; Order text books and desk copies; Reserve rooms including classroom and conference rooms; Initiate work orders for facility issues, repair and maintenance; Process requests for engraving Services including business cards, name plates, plaques; Complete surplus requests; Request visitor parking passes; Coordinate key control requests; Submit work orders for Telecom related issues; Respond to SOK email and phone inquiries; and Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications: Excellent voice and written communication skills; Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and with initiative; andEvidence of experience in office systems.Preferred Qualifications: University administrative and office work experience; andAssociates or Bachelor's degree.
