Job DescriptionREMOTE or ONSITE AT ONE OF OUR OFFICES in NY, SF, Chicago or Dallas Responsible for holding relationships with clients for all products and services that we deliver within a given segment. The focus area for this role is within the Technology Media and Telecom (TMT) sector. This candidate will have strong understanding of the TMT market and deep knowledge of the innovative solutions required by these clients. This includes generating new business via the ability to engage at senior levels of companies to progress opportunities to close. Creating awareness, building relationships, educating our capabilities with key TMT accountsWorking collaboratively with senior management and operating units that support the space. Strong ability to create strategic and tactical plans to uncover and close sizeable business for Know Your Customer/Supplier, ESG, Master Data Management, Trade Credit, Sales & Marketing, etc.Ability to quickly build relationships and influence decision-makers at the highest levels within large, mid-market and fast-growing TMT companiesCreate and maintain a network of contacts as well as building a pipeline of engagements for MA's Corporate solutions.Leveraging executive level relationships to introduce Moody's Analytics and create and pursue selling opportunitiesGather feedback from the industry to share with product development teams to ensure ongoing evolution of the solutions to meet the requirements of TMT client base.Teamwork, fostering relationships, and strategic selling skills are key requirementsBuild and execute on sales strategies to meet or exceed annual sales goals and targets that align with the company's vision and objectivesWork with sales colleagues and other internal stakeholders to drive the sales process from beginning to end by identifying and qualifying prospects, initiating new sales activity and managing sales cycles to closureLead the development of business within assigned territories. Partner with Solution Specialists to develop clear, concise proposals and deliver targeted client demos that address client needsTravel to meet with clients when safe RequirementsUndergraduate/first-level degree (eg, Bachelor's degree) required, with coursework in business, economics, finance, marketing, or related fields5+ years of experience working in direct business-to-business sales roles with a focus on serving Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT)This candidate will have strong understanding of the TMT market and deep knowledge of the innovative solutions required by these clients. Solid understanding of different parts of the global financial services industry, including market dynamics and customers' business driversAbility to present high-level information as well as detailed demonstrations of products & servicesDemonstrated ability to lead complex sales cycles to successful conclusions through of consultative selling techniquesExcellent verbal/written communication and presentation skillsAbility to interact with senior executives both internally and externallyAbility to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detailExperience at six figure sales with long sales cycle (3-12 months).
