Job Description As a Guest Services Associate, you are the client's first, last, and most frequent point of contact. Good first and last impressions are one of the easiest ways to ensure that a client returns. Our clients consider their dogs and cats family members, and as such, we depend on our GSAs to make our guests feel welcome, guide them through the process of leaving their pet with us, answer their questions, address their concerns, and uphold our high standards. As a family-owned 5 Star Pet Resort, we offer top-quality pet care combined with superior customer service. A Guest Services Associate must be friendly, upbeat, positive, and attentive to our client's needs, even while working under pressure. We prefer applicants with experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Basic computer, phone and credit card processing skills are required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Guest Services Associates are responsible for checking guests in and out, making reservations, suggestive selling, preparing for arrivals, and giving tours of the resort to potential clients. Duties include payment processing, problem solving, communicating with veterinary offices regarding vaccines, and contacting clients via email with updates and photos of their pets. Candidate must be comfortable interacting with dogs and cats, and duties may include grass roots marketing efforts and representing Olde Towne Pet Resort at community events. Applicants must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, while adhering to conduct and appearance standards.
