Duties

  • Provide expert multi-employer pension advice to corporate officials, staff, and stakeholders. Respond to external inquiries on multi-employer issues.
  • Coordinate audit and control operations of the multiemployer program.
  • Direct and/or supervise a staff within a company or agency.

  • Participation in the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Vaccination program is required for all Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) Employees

  • Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9. Federal law requires verification of the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires in the U.S.
  • Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment (OF-306) to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency

Qualifications

All qualification requirements must be met within 30 days of the announcement closing date.

Specialized experience is defined as one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the private sector managing a team of financial or audit professionals overseeing a multiemployer program. Examples may include managing the work of a division, planning, and adhering to organizational policy, coordinating financial matters under a multiemployer program providing advice to corporate officials and staff, and coordinating the review and processing of multi-employer applications, cases, and audits.
