Responsibilities Assist in conducting position audits of Government positions to identify required knowledge, skills and abilities, appropriate grade, and requisite competencies. Verify personnel and position information with up to date status using applicable tracking tools. Develop or utilize complex programmatic and quantitative methods to find patterns and relationships in data sets; lead statistical modeling or other data-driven problem-solving analysis to address novel or abstract business operation questions. Subject matter expert in data analytics, data modeling, and data visualization. Build and modify statistical and predictive analytic models, algorithms, queries, and methodologies. Conduct extensive quality control and record keeping to ensure highest levels of data integrity. Identify and import HR data analytics best practice and procedures for performance metrics and performance standards within Government entities. Present and explain complex results to Agency leadership and external Agencies. Query databases using SQL with structured data and performing data analysis. Gather and process raw data at scale using statistical packages and programming languages. Think strategically about how to publish data visualizations and present analytic results. Prepare schedules to complete job analysis and deliverables within Government deadlines. Use critical thinking skills to assess how machine learning capabilities can best be applied to complex business situations. Provide expertise on workforce data analytics to internal and external Government stakeholders. Support sustainment of the Agency Human Capital ontology. Recommend a plan for how the Government will maintain and update position descriptions as developed by the job analysis team. Create a profile to link current organization structures with updates/roadmaps to new organization structures; provide a pathway to reach the intended structure including recruitment and training necessary to supplement or complement the current workforce. Connect the automated position management system to the recruitment system Qualifications Bachelors degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related technical field Two to four years experience developing dashboards using Tableau, Cognos, and other data visualization tools Strong background in technology, the ability to structure data for reporting, and a strategic view of how to present analytic results to customers Knowledge of best practices in data visualization and business intelligence software, including recent versions of Tableau Familiarity with content and structure of HR-related data sets and data sources within the IC Experience developing visualizations and deploying those visualizations to server environments, such as publishing dashboards created in Tableau Desktop to Tableau Server Experience with ETL tools, performing ETL processes, and enhancing and automating queries from data sources such as relational databases and flat files Position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance
