The Senior Project Scheduler will provide Project Support, Cost Engineering, Scheduling, Earned Value Management and Project Level Services for the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Transatlantic Division (TAD) and the Middle East District (MED) located in Winchester, VA. The major objective of the Senior Project Scheduler is to provide to the USACE-MED in-country scheduling support in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with emphasis on the USACE's standard procedures for the management of Mega projects. Responsibilities Major objectives of this position are to provide to the USACE-TAM for the KSA foreign military sales program: * Cost engineering and Primavera (P6) schedule support/guidance as required to the construction contractors to ensure required reporting is provided to accomplish EVMS monitoring/reporting, * Verify that the actual progress reported is the actual state of completion in the field, * Support the PMO in understanding the basis of the data provided and the reports/impact of metrics produced from the KSA PCS, * Review baseline schedules for Project Engineers and upload comments in RMS as secondary reviewer, * Review monthly schedules for project Engineers and upload comments in RMS as secondary reviewer, * Discuss updated schedules, critical path, and one-week/two-week look ahead schedules with contractor in weekly/biweekly meetings, * Review monthly progress payments and other reports submitted by construction contractor, * Ensure proper information to support EVMS reporting is provided by the construction contractors, including schedule progress based on defined performance measurement techniques, actual cost at the appropriate level (minimum WBS Level 4 of USACE WBS/Dictionary - prefer steps of the WBS Level 4) and projections such as estimate at completion (EAC), * Support the PMO in understanding the basis of the data provided to MED and the reports/impact of metrics produced by the KSA Project Management Control System, * Support development and execution of the change control process, * Provide briefings (internal & external) as requested, * Assist in corrective actions related to reporting, forecasting, change control and performance, * Maintain listing and status of outstanding issues of record and corrective actions, * Compare actual progress of construction activities with progress claimed by Contractor in progress payments and make corrections, if required Qualifications * Must hold a bachelor's degree and/or 10-15 plus years of experience in the design, construction or consulting industry * Shall have experience with a wide range of projects * Must be in the process of pursuing or already have a professional designation including, but not limited to CCP, PE, CVS, PMP Acuity International is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
