Location: Baltimore, MD Category: Staff Posted On: Tue Aug 31 2021 Job Description: The training and development assistant manages the day-to-day operations of the College's training and professional development program to include mandatory compliance training, professional development offerings, new employee orientation, safety training, and more. This position oversees the development of the training and professional development calendar of offerings, coordination of event logistics, new employee registration in various online training platforms, course updates in various online training platforms, and related data entry in the HRIS. The training and development assistant supports the Talent and Technology Manager with delivering select programs (eg, new employee orientation), and serves as the back-up to the HR assistant, with particular support for front desk responsibilities, daily administration and personnel record keeping. Job Requirements:Education: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: Bachelor's degree in human resources, education, or related field HRCI/SHRM certification Professional Experience: Required: A minimum of three years of clerical experience and at least one year of experience assisting with employee training and development in a human resources department. Preferred: Three or more years of experience assisting with training and development; direct experience with training and development in higher education Computer Skills: Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and Human Resource Information Systems Additional Information:PM21
