Our team defines strategy - not to mention governance - for the implementation of quality standards and methodology.Join us as a Senior Principal Quality Engineer on our Quality Engineering team in USA to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.What you'll achieveAs a Senior Principal Quality Engineer in this team, you will drive continuous improvement in the quality of systems, developing and executing the COD process (Cost of Dissatisfaction) along with gaining the feedback and trust from customer facing teams, to improve the overall process of solution accountability.You will:Define and drive Cost of Dissatisfaction (COD) reduction initiatives, and develop supporting business cases for process changes while influencing all aspects of the value chain.Influence the Line of Business (LOB) Quality team to identify and implement projects to improve the customer experience, reduce COD and dispatched rates (FIR) and call rates (CPB).Steer quality teams to execute plans/schedules that support LOB goals and initiativesTake the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here's what we are looking for with this role:Principal ResponsibilitiesMonitors Cost of Dissatisfaction metrics and identifies exceptions requiring investigation and problem solving.Accountable to business leaders for progress toward COD reduction goals.Drives investigation across quality, support, sales, and engineering to determine root cause of perceived quality issues to ensure appropriate cost accountability while maintaining strong customer experience.Manages critical issues in a timely manner.Presents, communicates, and ability to influence LOB business leaders.Leads multiple high visibility programs moderately complex in nature (cost, technology, organizationally) to drive down COD spend across the business.Essential RequirementsBA/BS Degree in Engineering field (electrical, mechanical, systems, computer) with 8+ years or related experience.Strong background on Enterprise Server, Storage, & Networking products and subsystems.
