Capital Hilton is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to join the team!Located just blocks from the capital's best attractions, this property has 550 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes Northgate Grill, The Statler Lounge, and In-Room Dining.In this role, you will assist in overseeing operations in the food and beverage outlets managing a team of 20-30 and reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage. You will also have the opportunity to assist in banquets as well.The ideal candidate will be a team player and engaging leader with a passion for creating exceptional experiences, talented at multi-tasking, and fosters a culture of respect and positivity. At least two (2) years of hotel food and beverage leadership experience is required. Prior union experience is a plus.Want to learn more? Hotel Website, Instagram, FacebookWhat will I be doing?As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will direct and organize the activities of the Food & Beverage outlets to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. This includes but is not limited to:Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.What are we looking for?Since being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry.
