Join a fast moving, innovative, and growing team to expand and enhance the technical services provided to its customer base. The environment is highly federated and involves tracking the day to day operations in support of the cybersecurity team. As a Business Analyst, you will work alongside the Zero Trust lead in support of the client to collect, draft requirements for the Zero Trust framework. The Business Analyst will own, manage, and maintain the business, technical, and functional requirements related to the Zero Trust architecture. The selected resource will perform the gathering and analysis of existing agency cloud services as well as assessment of impending solutions. The Business Analyst will develop functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, etc. as it relates to the project. The analyst will work collaboratively with the internal team, customers, end-users, and other project stakeholders to create and maintain all essential documents and requirements traceability. The resource will be experienced at eliciting, documenting, and analyzing requirements. The Business Analyst will have proven experience supporting data security and/or cybersecurity projects.Tasks can include:Conduct requirements gathering sessionsElicit, document, analyze, and verify requirementsCreate and maintain business process modelsMaintain traceability between the base-lined business requirements and functional requirementsManage cross-team communication across the organization as it relates to the projectDraft functional requirementsCollaborate with project managers, project team members, business analysts, customersGenerate weekly status reportsQualificationsThe following skills/experience/knowledge are required to be considered for this role:Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at time of hire.4 years Technical PM/Business Analyst experienceBachelor's DegreeProject Management Professional (PMP) CertificationAbility to obtain a Public trust, and ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance over time on the projectExperience with enterprise systems and deployments: IT Service Management, Change Requests, Requirements collection, etc.Effectively interact with multiple levels of personnel (both internally and externally)Ability to apply a variety of problem-solving techniques to resolve issuesDemonstrates clear writing, confident presentation and effective facilitation skillsAbility to tailor communication to effectively reach audienceContinuously seek out and shares best practicesThe following skills/experience/knowledge are preferred to be considered for this role:Experience managing or supporting technical projects, escalating risks, and managing schedulesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as team building skillsTechnical or Agile certifications (eg, ITIL, CSM, AWS)Ability to seek and implement ideas for improving processes, client service or leveraging technologyConsulting experienceTechnical or Engineering backgroundTop Secret ClearanceAdditional RequirementsThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.DisclaimerAbout GuidehouseGuidehouse is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
