Every day, our 22,000 employees do the cant be done, solving the most daunting challenges facing our customers.ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:This role serves as the lead for a large Electronic Health Record (EHR) program team, helping to modernize and sustain the EHR to provide a standardized, robust, and highly available global EHR system. This position leads a team of technical experts in the transition and transformation of the current EHR system to a new Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) based EHR and the roll out of that solution across the enterprise.As the leader, this role has the responsibility for the quality, magnitude, and effectiveness of contract relationships with the customer. In concert with the sales teams & delivery teams, cooperates in building effective business relationships. The Program Director leads the contract account team to meet the customers requirements for quality, speed and cost while meeting internal metrics in terms of financial and customer satisfaction. Serves as the contracts principal representative to the customer, working closely with the Account Executive to make business decisions and contractual commitments on behalf of Peraton. Responsible for revenue, profit and increasing the business volume by increasing depth and breadth of the offerings Peraton provides.The position is located in the DC metro area. Will consider remote candidates willing to travel.Position is contingent upon awardResponsibilities:Understand the healthcare business and the impact of the EHR to the ecosystem and its ability to succeedSupport the organizational change initiatives required to transition the customers operations to the commercial-based EHR ecosystem modelManage the transition and design of the EHR sustainment organization to an operational state, including any required staffing, processes, and strategic directionOversee the program functions including ecosystem governance, customer engagement, service transition, and performance managementFamiliarity with Health Information Exchange (HIE) solutionsOptimize the overall operation of the ecosystem services and processes to create and increased value for the customerEngage with the customer at the enterprise architecture level to strategically align the demand for new technical capabilities and the services provided the ecosystemCollaborate with other ecosystem support functions such as Infrastructure Operations, and the Service Center to manage the cross-functional processes required for seamless service deliverySupport Continual Service Improvement through identification and implementation of opportunities to improve service performanceManage teams with well-defined scope, including directing daily work activities/priorities, people recruitment and development, cost management, and direction-setting within the area of responsibility.Manage team and individual performanceResolve/monitor customer escalationsEstablish and manage relationships with customer subject matter experts and appropriate customer management, with an objective of maintaining and building the business.QualificationsLeader in IT Operations implementation and deliveryFamiliarity with EHR operations and how delivery interactsLead managed IT infrastructure service transitionsFamiliarity with IT Service Management toolsets such as ServiceNowMinimum of 5 years relevant work experience and leadership in Healthcare IT OperationsExperience leading large teams in a matrixed management structureDemonstrated experience producing programmatic deliverablesDemonstrated experience with facets of personnel managementExperience of performance data analysis of ITIL processesSkilled at working collaboratively in a complex environment and driving performance achievement and improvementsData-driven mindset of service excellence and customer satisfactionSuccessful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilitiesUnderstanding of program and risk management practicesProven track record in business P&L management, financial concepts, and contract lawAbility to communicate across communities with exceptional written and oral communications skills, including executive-level presentationsLeadership experience with diverse, multi-domain, distributed teams, and multiple simultaneous projectsEducation and ExperienceMasters degree or equivalent work experience.Total of 14 years of relevant experience.CertificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationITIL v4 Foundations Certified or ability to obtain within first six monthsClearanceAbility to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
