In this client-facing role you will support next-generation product design and platform development and the creation of a seamless and unified experience across web, mobile and in-room apps. This role will work with the Director and Design Standards to enable harmonious, modern, and consistent design throughout Marriott's Digital ecosystem (web, apps, email, voice, on-property, etc.) for all users and guests. This role will support the extended UX team in developing and maintaining a foundation for designing cohesive experiences. This role knows how to apply visual design across a vast and diverse digital ecosystem of styles and contexts. This role will produce a variety of design artifacts in support of the work, such as; style guides, technical design specs and design libraries. You'll grow and develop as a designer through coaching, feedback and mentorship of our design leaders, as well as benefit from working alongside some of the best and brightest researchers, engineers and senior product designers. Responsibilities: Experience with Sketch & Invision is required Leverage design system to create, evaluate, document and iterate product designs Brainstorm creative ideas with project teams Present and clearly communicate design solutions and rationale Engage in critiques as well as share new learnings and case studies Respect and contribute to the evolving design system Qualifications: Minimum 3+ years of experience in either web or native mobile apps A mix of UI, visual design, and interaction design expertise, prior experience working with (and/or developing) design systems or UI kits Collaborative, highly-organized, and strong attention to detail Portfolio that shows solid design craft, user centered thinking, and a high degree of agility Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills Fluent in Sketch, Invision, and Jira Client DescriptionAquent Studios is a global creative studio that delivers scale, speed and efficiency to the world's most recognized brands.
