Duties

  • You will develop and review program technical and mission documentation such as: Operational Requirements Documents, Missions Element Needs Statement, Decision Coordinating Paper, Program Master Plan, Program Management Plan.
  • You will participate in the design and development of new systems by assessing the supportability and maintainability of proposed systems and technology applications.
  • You will develop and implement the support and maintenance concepts and develop the maintainability requirements for assigned systems.
  • You will perform cost analysis and life cycle costing studies for assigned systems.
  • You will review and approve changes to logistics documentation including Maintenance Plans.
  • You will track all ECPs from the date of approval to final installation of the change on each end item.
  • You will plan the phasing of end item logistics support responsibilities to the field.
  • You will implement all aspects of the ILS plan. Modify the logistics or maintenance plans, and Master Index of Repairables, as planning factors and/or requirements change.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Applying advanced theories, principles, and techniques of logistics management to function as a technical authority in aircraft weapon system product support management; (2) Demonstrated job experience and understanding of system equipment life-cycle phases and documentation, planning, analysis and reviews associated with those phases; (3) Formulating support and maintenance concepts and maintainability requirements for an aircraft weapon system; (4) Utilizing in-depth working knowledge of DoD budget processes to exercise resource responsibility over support budgets and funding for assigned program; (5) Developing contracts and contract modification required for the acquisition of logistics supportability products; and (6) Assisting integrated team members in the accomplishment of work to resolve problems and deliver cost-effective logistics products.

This position focuses on providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for integration of Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) systems on the EA-18G aircraft in support of the fielded aircraft systems through their life cycle. Direct Interfacing with PMA-234, PMA-265, PMA-205, PMA-260, NAVSUP WSS, DOD, OPNAV, JPO, other services/agencies, the Fleet, field activities, and contractors.
