Duties

  • You will design, develop, and articulate fiscal information and trends for assigned accounts/organizations.
  • You will prepare, coordinate, and review fiscal information ensuring accuracy, completeness of information and timeliness of submissions.
  • You will monitor availability of budget levels to ensure legal and efficient use of funding.
  • You will develop and provide recommendations on the execution of the budget and long-range program plans/changes.

  • You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Per E.O. 14043, selectee(s) must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by 11/22/2021 or date of employment (which ever comes later) except in limited circumstances where an exemption is approved due to a disability or sincerely held religious beliefs.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field K- Business-Financial Management Level II. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Incumbent may be subject to recurring polygraph examination.
  • This position may be subject to a two-year DCIPS trail period.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS -13 Grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Analyzing, evaluating and integrating program and organizational financial data from multiple sources to assess the relevance and significance of developments. 2 Analyzing, monitoring and reviewing financial obligational and expenditure data, and recommending solutions for under-performance; and budget shortages. 3. Interpreting and applying Fiscal/Appropriation laws, policies and directives, and developing new supplemental policies as needed. 4. Demonstrating familiarity in National Intelligence Program and the Military Intelligence Program as well as the PPBES process. 5. Preparing new or modifying previous management analyses, assessments, or other products by applying expert judgement to interpret information, develop solutions, or make decisions which impact programs and policies.
