Job Summary:If you're looking for an exciting position playing a critical role in HR efforts where you can truly make a difference, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner.About the Role:Belcan Government Solutions is seeking a HR Business Partner to provide HR consultation, subject matter expertise and partnership to our Defense and Special Programs Business Unit (BU). The HRBP will report to the Sr. Director, Human Resources.The selected candidate will partner with the business to develop and implement solutions and deliver exceptional HR support in a challenging and dynamic business environment.The position will require the development of strong working relationships in order to effectively diagnose and address business objectives.Responsibilities:The incumbent in the role can expect to partner with their client groups on internal HR needs and initiatives. Areas of focus and support will include:*Employee Relations . Employee Retention*Talent Development*Performance Management*Total Rewards (to include general compensation, rewards and recognition)*HR Integration*Proactively support the delivery of HR processes at the client's side.*Organize, prioritize, plan, schedule, and execute HR projects/initiatives.*Serve as change agent to the business, assisting in processes, process improvement and approaches to support and enable continued evolution of the organization to align with business objectives and market conditions.*Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.*Participate in and coordinate the performance management process.*Consult with leadership on delivering continuous performance and development feedback. Supports employee training and development initiatives.*Coach leadership on effectively responding to employee relations concerns. Advise leadership on managing employee and management performance and conduct (performance coaching, employee discussions, disciplinary actions).*Perform investigations and partner with leadership, legal, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP).*Conduct compensation comparisons and consult leadership with regards to recommendations for promotions, salary adjustments, leveling, offers and incentives.*Consult with leadership on COVID-19 risk assessment/mitigation, time charging, business resumption, and/or other workplace safety policies.*Manage off-boarding/exit process to include system termination, severance/ pay documentation, asset management, and exit interviews*Monitor and engage in HRIS transactions . Support engagement surveys and retention effortsRequirements:US CitizenshipEducation/Qualifications :*Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Labor Relations, Business or related field with at least 6 years of strong progressive HR Generalist experience including experience implementing HR programs and processes preferably in a government contracting and / or engineering environment; or a master's degree and at least 4 years of the required experience.*Requires a strong enthusiasm to deliver results, adaptability for change, demonstrate customer focus, and takes initiative to continuously learn.*Requires strong consulting skills; able to analyze data to define the root cause, design practical, creative and/or innovative solutions, and ensure solutions are effectively implemented. *Requires project management, prioritization, continuous improvement and process improvement thought process.*Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform complex professional tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.*Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong relationship building and influencing others skills; proven track record of building collaborative partnerships as the basis for being able to influence direction and drive change demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and influence others.* Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Preferred Qualifications :*PHR (SHRM-CP) or SPHR (SHRM-SCP) certification is preferred.We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
