Job Description :ObjectiveConsultis is seeking a Pre-Sales Forensic Solutions Engineer to support pre-sales activities for its Federal territory. This position would support all technical efforts associated with the pre-sales process focused on delivering end-to-end digital intelligence capabilities to federal, and military agencies. The position will require frequent travel (50%-75%) within the eastern US.Responsibilities & Scope of Role:Identifies current and future customer technical requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand product requirements. Provides product or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.Establishes new accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule.Prepares solution quotes by understanding customer requirements and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel.Develops proposals by analyzing cost-benefit ratios and return on investment analysis.Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating technical value of solutions, cost reductions and operations improvements.Develops customer's staff by providing technical information and training.Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.Required Qualifications :Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's Degree, or, equivalent industry experiencePrior Military ExperienceMinimum 4 years of experience in sales/systems engineering role, or, 4 years of experience in digital forensic investigations (Mobile and/or computer forensics).Working Knowledge of Investigations: general requirements, analysis, & documentationLinux and Windows system administration, basic networking, and storage administrationSoft SkillsEffective Presenter: You are comfortable speaking in front of people. You captivate your audience- you know how to present in an engaging manner.Successful Relationship Building: you feel comfortable initiating new conversations, you are experienced in relationship building with internal and external stakeholders.Customer Service Skills Expert: you anticipate customer needsTechnical Skills: Knowledge of mobile and computer forensic solutions and evidence analytics solutions preferred (ie Oxygen, MSAB, Magnet, Nuix, Palantir, I2).
