This person would serve as a technical leader in applying signal processing across multiple Army domains including wireless communications, space systems, SIGINT and Electronic Warfare (EW). The candidate must be capable of understanding gaps, formulating technical solutions, developing prototype software designs and executing research and engineering in the appropriate technologies.Key topics of interest include:Digital Signal ProcessingSoftware Defined Radios (SDRs)Detection & Estimation Theory and ApplicationsDigital Communications (Physical and MAC layers)Wireless CommunicationsSIGINT, Electronic Warfare, CyberMultiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) and array processingC/C++, Python, MatlabGraphics Processing Units (GPUs) and CUDATest & EvaluationPrototypingRequirements Development & VerificationSystems EngineeringBasic Qualifications:Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years' experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.Required Qualifications:Strong understanding of both the theory and practice of DSP and related areasStrong knowledge of Communications, SIGINT, EW, Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) sensors and applicationsFamiliarity with software defined radiosAbility to develop DSP algorithms in software and transition to fielded solutionsStrong knowledge of developing and executing test plans to verify and validate a system's performanceStrong Systems Engineering skillsSoftware/programming skills in python/java/c/C++Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of Position Navigation and Timing (PNT), and RadarFamiliarity with emerging DSP technologies from industry or academiaKnowledge of Information TheoryThis requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s):SecretThis requisition requires the hired candidate to have or obtain, within one year from the date of hire, the following clearance(s):SecretMITRE requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
