ATAC has an opening for a Director of Military Programs. This is a full-time position that can be located anywhere in the continental US The successful candidate will be a self-motivated member of ATAC's business development team and will also provide high-level management of ATAC's military aviation operations programs for Department of Defense clients. Functioning within a small business, the ATAC Military Programs Director will be a key leader within the senior management team. Responsibilities will include: Develop ATAC's military airspace operations, airfield operations, air traffic control, and capacity analysis business through broad-reaching client interaction, partnerships, and thorough knowledge and creative application of ATAC products and services. Seek and maintain detailed knowledge of military, other Federal Government, and private sector client and potential client operations support and analysis needs. Direct ATAC's military operations analysis programs including the NASMOD modeling and simulation system. Support company-wide proposal writing. Represent ATAC in relevant government and industry meetings. A background check will be required for this position. Qualifications ATAC is looking for a leadership and business development oriented person who will grow ATAC's military business and become an active, key participant in ATAC's senior management team. Required attributes include: Significant recent military airspace and airfield operations experience Excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal relations skills Strong analytical skills BA/BS degree and 20+ years of related job experience US citizenship or permanent residency Desired attributes include: Business development experience Knowledge of DoD and FAA contracting processes Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification UAV engineering and/or UAV operations experience ATAC offers a casual business environment within a supportive team of like-minded individuals.
