A detailed statement can be found below in the basic requirement section of the posting.The Service Engineer is a member of the Americas Customer Team, operating from the Regional Customer Service Centre in Northern Virginia. Reporting to the Americas Regional Engineering Manager, the candidate will support Civil Aerospace customers operating in the Americas region. Tasks will include analysis of engine operation, pre-empting and responding to technical issues, developing, implementing and communicating technical solutions that meet customer, business and regulatory requirements.At Rolls-Royce, we look beyond tomorrow. And while we encourage specialisation, we also offer freedom to cross-specialise and develop skills across a number of different areas.Key Accountabilities:Liaise with the civil aerospace customers to provide technical support on engine operation and maintenanceLead or facilitate root-cause investigations on safety or reliability in-service eventsDevelop technical documentation to support the engine programs and meet the design and regulatory requirementsWork closely with other members of the Customer Service Centre to offer customer friendly and novel service solutionsIncrease the value from our overhaul network through proactive identification of cost reduction activitiesIdentify and drive best practices throughout service engineeringUp to 10% domestic and international travel as covid-19 allowsRolls-Royce is a Military Friendly Employer.
