This is a remote position that can be worked anywhere within the US The primary responsibilities will include:Evaluates legacy application architecture and proposes to-be cloud architectureAssists in preparation of work breakdown structures and level of effort estimatesCreates Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scriptsDevelops data migration approachesSupports User Acceptance Testing and issue remediationConducts knowledge transfer activities for transition to sustainment teamsProduces technical documentation and proceduresUpdate legacy application code to support Cloud EnvironmentQualificationsRequired Education and Experience:Must be a US Citizen - No dual citizenshipMust have a minimum interim SECRET prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance on the jobBachelors in Computer Science or related field and five (5) or more years of experienceMust be CompTIA Security+ certified prior to start dateKnowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud service offeringsExperience with IaC such as CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, Ansible, and/or TerraformExperience with automation technology such as Jenkins, TFS, and/or Azure DevOpsExperience with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, and Agile methodologyIn-depth knowledge of software n-tier architecturesKnowledge of application middleware such as WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, IISExperience in programming languages such as Java, .NET, JavaScript,Ability to communicate complex technical information to an audience of varying technical levelsDesired:AWS and/or Azure certificationsExperience migrating legacy on-prem applications to a cloud service providerExperience with relational or non-relational databasesCOVID Policy: Prospective and/or new employees are required to adhere with SAIC's vaccination policy.
