And, we need a hungry Director of Content Strategies to help us grow even faster. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, as the Director of Content Strategies, you will drive company growth through the development of world-class content strategies, creating compelling stories that help prospects and existing clients recognize and unlock the power of ThreatConnect. Day in the life In this role you'll get to set and execute strategy for Marketing Content, using all of the modern tools available. You'll provide critical support for Sales teams in the enterprise and mid-market spaces in North America, in the US Federal Government, and within the enterprise space in EMEA. You'll be a visible and core player in the success of the company working across departments to harness everything needed to build pipeline and support deal closure. * Develop, execute, and be accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that deliver sales and customer retention * Write, produce, edit and source high quality, high value content across a variety of mediums * Collaborate across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan which aligns with the buyers journey and facilitates ThreatConnect business objectives * Approach this role with an editor in chief mindset: to create the content our * audience is looking for and then to optimize the path to conversion * Own the editorial calendar and drive the content plan and execution * Development of style guide and editorial governance so that content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone * Partner with Product Marketing, Product Management, and other SMEs to build technically valuable content and thought leadership * Channel management of digital content hubs and all supporting social channels including email/newsletter distribution * Develop and and manage KPIs for assets and content campaigns. Measure, optimize, and report on content effectiveness * Manage of all creative resources including designers, writers, and other agency personnel * Operationalize content -- partner with demand generation and product marketing teams to ensure content is effectively integrated into campaigns and programs * Manage budgets and resources to maximize return on investment and efficiency. 1-3-6-12 Month Plan: On day one we'll expect you to * Use your previous experience and knowledge that you have acquired in demand generation in B2B Technology software companies * Be able to internalize all aspects of the ThreatConnect brand promise and chart an editorial plan that connects ThreatConnect's value to various stakeholders at various points in the sales process * Be able to work with Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, and Field Marketing teams to create and support aggressive outbound and inbound strategies * Be able to identify and hire top quality professionals At 3 months we'll expect you to * Play a major role in 2021 Marketing planning related to content - identifying partners for content syndication, working to develop multi-channel content focus for the year, supporting Demand Generation and Sales enablement strategies * Completely establish an editorial calendar for the first half of 2021 that delivers multiple "story lines" for ThreatConnect across top, middle, bottom of funnel, and client success * Deliver the first assets from the editorial calendar and work with Demand Generation and Product Marketing teams to execute campaigns and sales enablement programs using these assets * Develop and begin executing on a thought leadership program for 2021 that utilizes PR teams for contributed articles, rapid response, and executive level interviews * Be working with Digital Marketing to continue SEO ranking growth At 6 months we'll expect you to.. * Conduct measurement and analysis of early content strategies, continually refining for the remainder of the 2021 calendar year * Have "written the books" on ThreatConnect for each of our product lines individually and the broader platform as a whole - delivering version 1.0 of these complete story lines for top, middle, and bottom of funnel At 12 months we'll expect you to.. * Be completely in the driver's seat of Content Strategies and function as a leader within the company * Be the favorite person of every member of the Sales team for not only helping them fill the funnel, but supporting them with high quality content strategies to help close deals Team culture We are in this together - we win together, we fail together. Required Qualifications: * Have 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing content in B2B tech (strong preference for cybersecurity marketing experience) * Killer communicator -- in writing, presentations, through video and the web. Ability to distil complex concepts into clear, concrete messages and content * Exceptional editor with strong attention to detail * Ability to work across the organization and with outside experts to develop meaningful content * Have a proven track record of developing, executing, and refining content strategies that get results in terms of new opt-in contacts, new Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), and that aid in nurturing through all layers of the funnel * Proven ability to manage a content marketing program that aligns with the buyers journey and enables prospects and customers to learn * Proven ability to leverage social media to drive awareness and engagement * Proven success developing and leveraging content for SEO purposes. Fluent in web traffic metrics * Have experience working with counterparts in Demand Generation from: field and virtual events, to outbound and trigger-based email campaigns, to account based marketing, SEM, social media, and etc. - collaborating on programs that utilize your content to its fullest * Have experience charting thought leadership paths and working with executive level resources to harness and refine their vision * Have experience driving success through Public Relations agencies * Ability to hire, direct, and mentor a team of high performing content marketers including both internal and external resources Desired Qualifications: * Experienced with all social and digital channels - Google, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Account-based marketing technologies etc * Experienced working with content syndication partners to expand the reach of your content strategies
