Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman Tactical Space Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Administrator with a hardware and networking background. This position will be located in Dulles, VA. This position will support Tactical Space Systems Division in their development and deployment of satellite ground software to customer resources. The selected candidate will support hardware and system administration of multiple environments in an Agile / DevOps environment for a critical customer program. We are looking for engineers with a strong bias for action. * We are working with leading DevOps practices and tooling (Hashicorp Tools, Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins). * Come learn to use a private cloud with OpenStack and VMWare. * Help support multiple customers on the product line. Basic Qualifications: * BS in related field with 5 years of experience in Software Development, Systems Administration, or DevOps * Must be a US Citizen eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance * Knowledge of hardware maintenance and Data Center management practices * Experience implementing networking best practices including network routing and firewalls * Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems * Experience in Shell scripting - bash, ruby, perl Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Terraform * Experience automating routine procedures using Ansible * Experience with OpenStack * Knowledge of DevSecOps principals * CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) DoD 8 570.01-M IAT Level II Certification Salary Range: 74200 - 111400 Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
