Partnership ManagerGeorge Mason University's Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Partnership Manager for open-enrollment and contract programs. By providing innovative and diversified educational/training experiences, we enhance workforce development, professional development, organizational effectiveness and economic development.About the Position:The Partnership Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining CPE partner contracts both fulfilling CPE's commitments as well as holding our partners accountable for meeting their commitments for open enrollment (OE) and contract course programs. In addition to monitoring, reporting and driving enrollments for our open enrollment courses, the PM works with CPE Marketing and Finance to manage registration, marketing campaigns, contract administration and fiscal services. PMs work with CPE partners on schedules, marketing, instructor contracts and financial account management. As the budget manager for the partnership contracts, the PM helps establish pricing with the third party, as well as the CPE executive team and university entities. PMs serve as the "face" of CPE to the student and instructor, and are accountable for all of services around OE and contract course delivery.Responsibilities:This position reports to the Senior Partnership Management. Responsibilities include:Fully manage assigned programs (budgeting, logistics, scheduling, client relations, program growth strategy) as well as generate awareness and partnership opportunities in support of recruiting and enrollment efforts for the university's professional education program offerings;Manage non-credit offerings, where appropriate, and partner across the university to encourage collaboration and build program recruitment and enrollment strategy as well as client support;Work closely with the department marketing, fiscal and enrollment teams to ensure successful programmatic outcomes;Participate in brand awareness and relationship building activities including networking, relationship development and prospect identification and recruitment through conferences, industry leadership events, related association membership activities and university events; andProvide support in the identification of new and innovative course topics and possible program partnerships in related industries.Required Qualifications:Exemplary communication skills (written and verbal);Advanced use of computer applications (Microsoft Office suite), social media (LinkedIn, FB, Twitter, etc.) and student enrollment software;General budgeting acumen;Prospect recruitment and client service knowledge and skills;Ability to expertly organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy;Excellent organizational and time management skills;Ability to work independently, but also thrive in a team environment; andMaster's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications:Customer service experience;Administrative experience both within an academic office but also with third party vendors/businesses including fiscal management;Experience in a higher education setting;Advanced computer skills with an emphasis on Banner and Destiny Solutions;Experience in supervising;Experience with marketing and recruitment;Experience with managing customer experience (both learner and partners) and being responsive to varying customer needs;General experience with special events planning and execution including lead/prospect tracking and prioritization;Excellent interpersonal skills; andExperience in managing complex projects with several contributing factors/influences.
