Excellent lifelong career opportunities await at BMW of Alexandria.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Receive and carry out Repair Orders as dispatched by Service AdvisersPerform high quality and efficient repair service in accordance with Center and Factory standardsPerform diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needsRoad-test repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are completeMaintain organized, clean workspaceCommunicate directly and efficiently with Service Advisers and Parts Department EmployeesParticipate in continual BMW proprietary training/education programs to hone skills and develop expertise in industry-leading BMW automotive technologies and processesDemonstrate behaviors consistent with Employers' values in all interactionsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredAutomotive Technical training or Trade School degree strongly preferred2-5 years of hands-on work experience as Automotive Technician in a reputable shop (preferably OEM dealership or franchise) environmentBMW automotive repair (or other German luxury brand) experience strongly preferredValid Driver's License in applicable state (or ability to obtain upon relocation) and a good driving recordStrong Mechanical & Electrical diagnostic aptitude and hands on skill requiredProficiency in basic computer skills requiredExcellent Customer Service skills requiredCandidate must have their own basic automotive tool setASE Certifications strongly considered, and are applicable to BMW Certification levelsProfessional appearance and work ethic requiredMust be authorized to work in the United StatesPre-employment testing; including drug, background, and motor vehicle reportsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.ESTIND
