Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Principal Program Cost Control Analyst to support the Network Information Solutions Division, Cyber & Information Solutions Business Unit. This position is located in Chantilly, VA.The Principal Program Cost Control Analysts:Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.Performs Earned Value requirements and holding program team to a set cadence relative to CTM F300 compliance standards.Is fully versed in the operations of all EVMS processes/procedures and generate baseline and IPMR data.Utilizes organization process assets for configuration control to include change request (CR) processes, Work Authorization Documents, and Performance measurements (Earned Value Management-EVM). In depth working knowledge of COBRA Earned Value tool.Relocation assistance may be available for this requisition.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Business Administration, or related field with 6 years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 4 years of experience as described above.Prior Business Management experienceProficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, chart generation, VBA macros, etc.)The willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the timeUS CitizenshipPreferred QualificationsCOGNOS software tool experienceEarned Value Maangement experienceSalary Range: 83600 - 125400Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
