Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Position is unfunded pending Award Program Manager for the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) leading a team of full time contractors supporting Army National Guard training. The team will provide individual, leader, battle staff, and simulation-driven collective Mission Command (MC) training, technical, exercise, simulation, and organizational support for the ARNG. This Task Order Manager (TOM) is responsible to provide overall management of program, projects, cost and budgets, personnel, planning, quality control, direction, coordination, deliverable submissions, and reviews necessary to assure effective contract performance and acts as single point of contact for the Government's Program Manager and Contracting Officer Representative on these and related issues. The TOM is responsible to recruit, train, supervise, and sustain the program workforce employees. The TOM is responsible for the management of subcontractors in support of the program. The program personnel (both Northrop Grumman and subcontractor) are located at six Mission Training Complexes (MTCs) and embedded with units in 50 states and 4 territories. The TOM directs the preparation of technical support plans, operating budgets, program metrics, and regular and recurring status reports. As required , the TOM prepares proposal work statements and specifications. The TOM is responsible to develop new business or expand the program with the ARNG customer. The TOM must be located in the National Capital Region of Washington DC. Basic Qualifications: - BS/BA degree and 10yrs experience - Have a full understanding of Army Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) - Minimum of 10 years supervisory experience - Served as either a battalion or brigade commander - MEL-4 qualified (CGSC/ILE completion), or equivalent level military education. - SECRET level clearance Preferred Qualifications: - PMP - Master's Degree in Management, Business Administration, or related discipline Completed Senior Service College (SSC) or equivalent military schooling - Recent experience with Mission Command training at Battalion command level or higher; in-depth knowledge of virtual training simulators; and constructive simulations and gaming experience are preferred - Managed multiple contracts with P&L responsibility for 20 millionSalary Range: 96008 - 144012Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
