We are hiring a fulltime Marketing and Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team. Responsibilities: Assist in strategizing marketing and social media for Grow West brand and company image. This includes event marketing and branding, direct marketing, and social media. Ability to provide creative materials and excellent visual communications for content development and assist with data verification and advertising placement. Collaborate with key players to ensure projects receive the resources and attention necessary to be successful. Competence to understand the business and marketing strategies while following Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission and Grow West regulations. Professional correspondence and communication internally to sustain marketing campaigns on track. Knowledge to align social and digital marketing to business and marketing goals and objectives. Proficiency to prepare communication and professional feedback in response to inquiries on all sites, as necessary. Research knowledge to monitor marketing industry news and submit reports on emerging trends to management. Work with staff to coordinate day-to-day activities that lead to the completion of projects and tasks. Ability to follow the written COMAR and company SOP regulations as they relate to marketing and social media. All other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications: BS Degree in Social Media Marketing, BS Degree in Marketing with Social Media Concentration or BS in Fine Arts in Graphic Arts. People and customer service skills, and inherently social to make connections. Agility to quickly pivot and react. Strong attention to detail and ability to cross reference materials to on-line site guidelines. Excellent critical thinking, data analysis, writing and communication skills. Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Creative while meeting deadlines. Must be skilled in Microsoft office suite, graphic design, adobe suite, photography, and digital marketing technology. Grow West MD is an equal opportunity employer.
