Your experience will be an asset to our client in the modernization of DHS/OBIM Automated Biometric Identification System. Overall, the platform will incorporate, retain and process biometric and associated biographic data for United States national security; Law Enforcement; Immigration and Border Management. You will be responsible for requirements reviews, coding, testing, research for key and high-impact tasks to offer technical approaches, as well as sharing your comprehensive knowledge across technology teams. What You'll Be Doing: Engage in modifying applications software or specialized utility programs Innovate client software solutions to optimize operational efficiency Analyze and develop application interoperability requirements with database systems developers to assist application areas Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting project growth Required Experience and Skills: 5+ years of Java Development DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven Java Web Services / Spring Boot / Java EE Web Development / UI Frameworks / HTML / JavaScript Relational Database experience (Oracle DB / PostgreSQL DB / MySQL) Cloud knowledge Preferred: AWS certifications GovCloud experience Education: Bachelor's degree required
