Director of Program FinanceFairfax, VA, USAReq #4296Wednesday, November 3, 2021**Summary**All Native Group is looking to fill the position ofDirector ofProgram Finance. TheDirector ofProgram Financemanages the activities of the program finance, cost control and program scheduling function in federal government contract environment. Performs complex financial analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program or programs.Develops and maintains reporting and analysis systems to guide the financial management of individual programs and contracts to achieve company objectives.Assesses program performance and tracks the performance against program budgets. Acts as a key technical expert on financial analysis issues.Coordinates, negotiates, and resolves financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation of contract requirements.Establishes and defines program plan requirements for assigned work.**Essential Functions**+ Prepares monthly and yearly financial reports as required by management and regulatory agencies in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)+ Ensure key accounting processes align with federal government compliance standards including FAR and CAS+ Ensure the ongoing accuracy and integrity of the financial statements. Engaging key operations staff through the financial review process+ Enforce and/or implement the financial policies of the organizations+ Prepare, or direct the preparation of, reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial performance in the areas of income, expense, and earnings, based on past, present and future operations+ Review project/contract level revenue reporting for completeness and accuracy+ In coordination with VP Finance and Accounting and Controller, suggest and implement methods to improve fiscal operations, processes, efficiency, and service to both internal and external customers. Facilitate the maximization of both human and automated resources to achieve productivity and profitability+ Assist executive staff with preparation of forecasts, plans and budgets+ Provide technical financial audit of the company accounts both at the division and corporate support level as required+ Review the annual incurred cost submission and manage the DCAA audit requests+ Communicates clearly and directly with employees regarding expectations concerning performance, productivity, and accountability. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.**Physical Demands**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.+ Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.+ Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word.Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.+ Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds.+ Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Evening and weekend hours required, as required by business need.**Travel**Travel approximately 20%**Experience**+ Prefer 10 or more years of experience in accounting+ Government contracting experience/knowledge required+ Experience with CostPoint, Deltek 7, Deltek Time and Expense strongly preferred**Education**+ Prefer Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in Accounting and/or Finance field from a four-year college or university preferred+ Masters degree and/or CPA or CMA designation is a strong plus**Additional Eligibility Qualifications**+ Manage activities for (5-10) companies, subsidiaries, or divisions+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations+ Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions+ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists+ Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form+ Advanced computer skills and proficiency with MS Office+ Strong organizational and time management skills+ Strong written and verbal communications skills+ Detail oriented and task driven+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment+ Ability to meet deadlines and handle time sensitive issues+ Maintains a valid Drivers License and be insurable under company insurance provider/program**Security Clearance**None required for this positionPursuant to Executive Order 14043, this position requires full vaccination against COVID-19 regardless of work location.**AAP/EEO Statement**All Native Group is an equal opportunity employer.
