Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.DescriptionPerforms developmental and experimental aircraft Data Acquisition System maintenance, repair, modification, installation, and testing tasks in a flight test environment. Instructs, coordinates and performs the duties / functions of Flight Test personnel in area(s) of assignment. Determines the sequence for installing, removing, maintaining, repairing of instrumentation systems.Performs testing, rework and repair in various fields of specialization. Applies shop theory and skills in accomplishing assigned tasks working from incomplete engineering, electronic data, blueprints, sketches, engineering drawings, technical orders and written and verbal instructions. Works from blueprints, engineering orders, schematics, technical documents on aircraft Data Acquisition Systems including electrical / electronic, mechanical, hydraulics, power plant, and structures type instrumentation sensors.Basic Qualifications:2-year technical degree in electrical technology or equivalent experience/combined education equivalent to an associate degree.Familiar with Microsoft office, particularly Word and Excel.Familiar with Computer Aided Design software.Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and Mechanical installation drawings.Knowledge of test equipment such as meters, oscilloscopes, TDR's, etcExperience troubleshooting hardware, electrical.Preferred Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in flight test instrumentation.Background in Instrumentation and/or Electronics Technology with knowledge of flight test data systems.Experience in strain gages installations as well as accelerometers, and thermocouples.Experience troubleshooting data system hardware.Soldering experience.Salary Range: 49000 - 81600Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
