DescriptionJob Description:The Defense Group at Leidos as an exciting opportunity as a Deputy Program Manager on our GSMO II IDIQ contract's Joint Service Provider (JSP) Penetration Handling, Incident, System Health (PHISH) Support Services Task Order in Alexandria, VA. JSP provides a full range of IT products, services, and solutions and customer services to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) and the Joint Staff (JS), Director of Administration (DA), Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), and other OSD offices for them to meet mission and business requirements. Through the JSP PHISH, JSP performs cyber defensive actions in support of JSP and its customers including but not limited to: Army, OSD, Joint Staff, Pentagon, Force Protection Agency (PHPA), and Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JIAC).This Task Order has 115+ FTEs working to perform PHISH support services for the JSP-supported networks and infrastructure. The team assists the JSP with monitoring network and end point data to prevent, detect, respond, and recover from adversarial activities for JSP and customer IP address space, compute and storage capabilities, desktops, laptops, VDI, data repositories in the FOUO, unclassified, secret, JWICS, and associated management networks. The Deputy Program Manager is responsible for supporting the management of cost, schedule, quality and risk. The DPM must support, provide leadership, and have the interpersonal communication skills necessary to inspire and lead a complex and high-paced environment. The DPM will interface with senior JSP leaders, contracting officer, and the COR.This task order is expected to be awarded in January with start of performance in February. This position has potential to start ahead of contract award in order to support transition in activities. An active TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start and this role will be based onsite at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA area.Primary Responsibilities:Perform duties under the strategic and operational vision of the Program ManagerResponsible for financial, technical, administrative, contractual, and personnel aspects of the contractManage project schedules and coordinate contractor activities in accordance with the PWSWork closely with third parties (eg other contractors, other Federal entities) to facilitate integrated mission supportPresent regular executive briefings to the government on services provided on the contract (verbal and written)Apprise Government stakeholders on productivity and quality assuranceEnsure that all work on the contract complies with the contract terms and conditions and is approved/coordinated with senior corporate managersResponsible for making sure the program is staffed and working with teammates to achieve Leidos successSupports delivery of CDRLsCoordinates with government customer, understands customer's technical needsProactively identified and mitigates risks; identifies and capitalizes on opportunitiesEstablishes and maintains an inclusive work environment consistent with Leidos values and ethicsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Prior experience with programs of similar size and complexity (50-100 FTEs; Defensive Cyber)Demonstrates advanced knowledge in planning, directing, and managing projects/operations in an organization similar in size to this programDemonstrates experience with researching and fielding new and innovative technologiesDemonstrates experience in procurement of IT hardware and softwareDemonstrates experience in defensive cyber operationsEffectively work with a team establishing, strong, collaborative working relationships with government customers, technical staff, and senior managersStrong follow through skills.Active TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with JSP and/or understands JSP's mission5 or more years of IT program management or leadership experience in DoD environment10 or more years IT program management experiencePMP CertificationITL Foundations CertificationDoD 8570 IAM Level II CertificationPay Range:
