Overview Join the ArcGIS StoryMaps team and help us build a new digital storytelling tool with unprecedented mapping capabilities. Authors around the world use story maps to drive change, influence opinion, and create awareness with their stories getting millions of pageviews a day.You will work with designers and developers to design, build, and run cutting-edge native mobile apps on iOS and Android. You will be involved at every stage of product development from brainstorming broad ideas to ensuring quality through launch. Using your full range of product engineering, communication, and product thinking skills, you will be responsible for delivering a stable and useful product that meets customer needs. Responsibilities Coordinate with designers and developers to build native mobile apps on iOS and AndroidExecute functional, regression, and acceptance tests on a variety of projects in a fast-paced and fulfilling environmentEngage with customers for problem solving and product feedbackHelp creating user guides and product documentationAssist in assessing product quality and release readinessDeliver high quality applications to the mobile app stores Requirements 2+ years of product engineering experienceExperience building customer-focused mobile appsDemonstrated expertise on the iOS and Android platformsPassion for data driven product and design decisions with the ability to give and receive feedback constructivelyStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective problem solving and presentation skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the English languageDemonstrated ability to adapt to quickly to changeGood interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to work in cooperative team environments and take initiative to help when neededBachelor's or higher in software engineering, GIS, or related field, depending on position level (master's preferred) Recommended Qualifications Knowledge of software localization, internationalization, and accessibilityHands-on experience working with mobile UI kits and platform-specific UI patternsHas submitted apps in app store and Google PlayHas worked with simulators and emulators for testing buildsGood working knowledge of XCode and Android StudioQuestions about our interview process?
