Our recognition as an industry leader is confirmed by the latest national rankings by Engineering News-Record (ENR) ranking Leidos within the Top 10 T&D Firms, and Top 10 Power Firms.In this role, you can expect to grow by:Participating in strategic development to support revenue targetsBuilding, mentoring and developing your team of managers and lead engineersGaining access to and partnering with our deep list of nationwide utility clients to expand the portfolio of businessWhat you will bring to the table:B.S. or MS degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university, with 12+ years of relevant experience in distribution line engineeringHigh technical competence of NESC and Distribution Line Engineering fundamentalsExpertise with staff training/mentorshipExperience managing a large teamExperience with serving as client liaison for project delivery as well as business developmentExperience in project execution, including being accountable for scope, budget, and schedule adherenceThe ability to travel up to 10% of the timeIt would be nice if you had:Professional Engineer (PE) certificationExperience with design tools such as Pole Foreman, O-Calc, Spida-CalcExperience with Joint Use and Colocation projectsExperience with 5 kV to 15 kV voltage conversion projectsAt Leidos, we take care of our employees.
