Role Summary The Senior Learning Advisor provides learning support that enables and grows employee competencies and performance. This role would focus specifically on Cox Business Product Support - a technical and learning background is desired. The Senior Learning Advisor is responsible for collaborating with Learning & Workforce Capability (LWC) peers and the business to identify skill requirements, gaps, and future skill sets. This role also partners with the business to understand priorities and strategies and correlates that to learning objectives that are used in developing learning solutions. This role is responsible for developing the documentation associated with scoping the projects and business requirements. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions Responsible for work in take, associated documentation, scoping and requirements for learning projects and initiatives Coordinates with LWC leaders to staff learning projects Establish and maintain close working relationships with the business and People Solutions teams to identify, understand and address business needs such as skill requirements and gaps Utilizes learning expertise, business expertise, and consultative skills to understand business needs and recommend solutions that align and support those needs Document learning initiatives that outline scope, requirements, audience, budget, and business outcomes, etc. Proactively identifies skill related risks to business performance and offers solutions to resolve Provides expertise on a wide range of long-term and day to day learning and development needs Collaborates with curriculum development and delivery to provide specifications for learning solutions Collaborates with support functions to deliver client updates as needed Partners with business clients and People Solutions HRBPs to understand impacts of future workforce and capability needs Partner with program/project manager to forecast, manage and report on financial implications of initiatives Anticipate challenges and recommend solutions Qualifications: Required Where permitted by applicable law, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be considered for this US based job. (Reasonable accommodations for medical and religious objections will be considered.) 5 years of relevant business experience must be in operations, sales, technology, and/or contact center roles Demonstrated success in relationship management, consulting, and eliciting business requirements Advanced consulting skills and a demonstrated customer service orientation toward internal clients Proven results with strategic thinking, creativity, and deployment of training initiatives linked to business outcomes Strong analytic and diagnostic skills with a data-driven and metrics-driven approach Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills. Demonstrates proficiency in critical thinking and creative problem solving Demonstrated competence in influencing and obtaining buy-in from stakeholders at multiple levels of an organization Experience building strong relationships with colleagues in diverse geographic locations Proven competency with standard business applications such as power point, excel, word etc. Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic and virtual environment Ability and willingness to travel (up to 50% of the time) Preferred BS/BA degree in business, communications, or organizational development Masters Degree in related discipline Experience in the telecommunications, manufacturing or retail operations industry Excellent executive presentation skills Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic and virtual environment Who We Are About Cox Communications Cox Communications is committed to creating meaningful moments of human connection through broadband applications and services.
