Duties

As an Office Manager you will:
  • Provide program administrative and analytical support to the office.
  • Manage division workload.
  • Ensure effective and efficient operation of information storage and retrieval systems such as computer files and filing cabinets.
  • Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, budget/manpower reports, records, technical documents (such as manuals and handbooks), and web sites.
  • Provide administrative management of time and attendance, supplies, travel, mail, and credit card purchases.
  • Prepare briefings for management.
  • Solely responsible for many office projects.

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment may be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-07 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
  • One year of specialized experience at the GS-7 or equivalent which demonstrates knowledge and experience related to administrative functions to include records management, database management, travel, and time and attendance. (OR)
  • Master's Degree or equivalent graduate degree in a related field. (OR)
  • 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a related field. (OR)
  • LL.B. or J.D. (OR)
  • An equivalent combination of education and specialized experience.

Education

EDUCATION: You MUST provide transcripts to support your education claims. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
