The role of Product Marketing drives user acquisition and retention for Yahoo Sports products and acts as visionaries and stewards of the brand voice and image. From developing go-to-market strategies; to leading cross-functional teams; to analyzing experimentation and campaign results; we help grow and shape the Yahoo Sports brand that touch millions of people every day. A little about you We are seeking a data-driven, consumer-focused, creative problem solver to join our Yahoo Sports team. The right candidate knows how to use data to leverage consumer insights, find competitive intelligence, and recommend product innovation that achieve our goals to acquire, engage, and retain sports fans. You have interest in developing marketing strategies, leading product launches, and optimizing campaigns. You understand the mobile, digital landscape and the latest trends shaping the industry and have demonstrated success in solving new and unforeseen problems and doing whatever it takes to get a project or team across the finish line. Your day Responsible for supporting positioning, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the brand and help it grow a loyal consumer base Work with a cross-functional team across product, engineering, design, sales, communications, legal, PR and more Support strategy and creative development to execute high profile campaigns, promotions, and content initiatives to achieve key KPIs for Yahoo Sports, Fantasy and Sportsbook Collaborate with marketing channel leads and internal/external creative teams Execute with cross-functional teams by leading meetings and standups Generate and go deep on consumer insights and competitive intelligence to learn what works and doesn't to deliver growth-driving product innovation and iteration Help marketing teams understand/internalize consumer insights, choices, and preferences - and how these influence the direction of campaign messaging and positioning Own app store optimization tactics, collaborating with internal teams and external agency Inform and update executives and stakeholders on product performance, plans, and progress towards metrics You have 1-3 years in digital marketing, media, or consumer facing products Preferred experience in Sports, mobile app or gaming industry Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and consensus Track record of proactively establishing and following through on commitments Demonstrated use of analytics, metrics, and benchmarking to drive decisions Excellent interpersonal, organizational, creative, and communications skills Team player with a positive attitude Strong work ethic and strong core values (honesty, integrity, creativity) Problem solver who never stops thinking about ways to improve Yahoo is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
