SUMMARY: Accountable for defining, developing, organizing, and directing all aspects of the human resources function, including attraction & retention, employee benefits, health & safety, training & organizational development, compensation, and employee relations to support the Business Strategy across the organization.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Leads the identification, development and implementation of broad human resource strategies associated with accomplishing business objectives.Oversees the development, recommendation and promotion of comprehensive human resource policies and programs in support of the Company's Mission, Vision and Values.Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices, benefits and compensation practicesDirects the administration of various programs within the human resource function. Identifies and analyzes problems and takes appropriate action to correct such problems.Provides advice and guidance on the interpretation of human resource policies as they relate to individuals and Company objectives.Assures compliance with all human resource related legislationProvides direction and support to HR team members to ensure departmental effectiveness and efficiency. Supervises, trains and develops direct reports.Participates in the development and monitoring of the annual HR operating budget, ensuring that operations are managed within the established guidelinesDirects the administration of the HRIS and is responsible for employee data integrityEnsures fair and proper treatment of all employees and compliance with company policy's and employment law.Any and all other tasks as assignedQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Knowledge of HR policies & practices including ability to develop/recommend and provide interpretation to management and implicit knowledge of employment laws and their implications. Must have SHRM certification or working towards it. Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs.Excellent interpersonal skills with highly developed communication and presentation skills Demonstrates the Company's core, leadership and executive competencies.Must demonstrate a high standard of quality control ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all taskStrong team orientation and initiative to improve company productivityPossess a thorough understanding of company's principles and practicesMust be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in business or human resource management, with 5+ years progressively responsible experience or equivalent combination of education plus experience in all functional areas within the human resource practice, including at least three years managing an HR Department.SKILLS & SPECIFICATION:Ability to attend evening and off-site meetingsTravel as required.Criminal Check required Upbeat and professional demeanor Attention to all information and accuracy in performance.Highly self-motivated individual.fU1zy8zKBw
