B&A is seeking a Business Development Analyst to join our team at our headquarters office in Tysons Corner, VA!Description/Job Duties: Education and BackgroundBachelor's degreeMust be local to the Washington DC metro areaUnderstanding and knowledge of federal proposal and procurement policies, practices, and processes.Understanding and knowledge of Government IT IndustryComputer skills necessary to conduct analysis, proposal writing, and electronic communicationTraitsEffective client relations, both external and internal.Exhibit leadership, professionalism, business ethics, and trustworthiness.Effective listening, speaking, presentation, and writing skills.Effective negotiation skills.Collaboration and team orientation balanced with being a productive individual contributor.Exhibit follow through and consistency.Results oriented.Must have the ability to assess and interpret information, render judgments, and conduct research.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnalyze opportunities for the company to achieve growth in targeted markets and with targeted clients, in alignment with approved corporate business strategy.Research/analyze prospective clients and teaming partners.Interpret, evaluate, and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic-decision making.Support research efforts for government market analysis, account planning, opportunity identification and qualification and capture.Present research results with recommendations for resulting business development strategy and activities.Analyze opportunity pipeline and update pipeline in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.Research industry/economic/business/technology trends and advancements that may affect business development strategy or business opportunities.Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.COVID-19 continues to significantly impact our employees, families and communities.
