The qualified candidate will participate in the management of all aspects of the Company's income tax compliance (domestic and international); and accounting for income taxes. The successful candidate will work with businesses, external auditors and other tax professionals in carrying out his or her responsibilities. Other duties include review of integrated business plans, cash tax forecasts, tax legislative analysis and special project assistance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing employee growth and development plans.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Manage all US Federal income tax reporting, including tax returns filings (1120, 1065), book/tax differences, estimated payments, tax research and any related analysis and supportOversee the preparation of foreign information returns (Form 5471, 8858, etc.) and other forms as requiredUse and maintain CorpTax Compliance SoftwareLiaison with business sector tax leads on tax issues and finance accounting staff on tax accounting issuesEnsure appropriate internal controls are in place over accounting for income taxesAssist with integrated business plan, cash tax forecasts and forward pricing analysisAssist with collecting data and preparing responses for the IRS examinationsConduct federal and state tax research, as required, using available research toolsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable calculation models and processes in order to appropriately record financial statement impact of tax positionsIdentify process and efficiency improvement opportunities including but not limited to use of technology for data collection and analysisManage, coach, and lead a small team of tax professionalsIn this role, the selected individual will also have some responsibility for the following:Team up with other critical tax areas, including tax provision and tax planning for interconnectedness between tax compliance and accounting and to drive efficiencies within the tax department as a wholeRepresent the tax reporting group in special projects and effectively communicate relevant information to stakeholders within tax and reportingReview contracts and evaluate tax requirements and implicationsAssist the Corporate Tax on transaction support related to sector M&A activityParticipate in sector tax leads quarterly meetings to identify tax opportunities and risks inherent in tax reportingQualificationsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related fieldCPA certification plus 12 years of progressive relevant tax experience in a public accounting or large corporate environmentStrong experience with corporate tax provisions (ASC 740)Strong tax technical skills with ability to effectively communicate tax technical matters to Senior ManagementProficiency in tax research tools and Microsoft OfficeMust have a demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in a team-based environmentProven financial, analytical, technical and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to manage large projects, as well as prioritize and supervise/motivate staffExpected travel of up to 10%Preferred Qualifications:Excellent client service and demonstrated personal development skills; motivated to grow in position and leadership role within the companyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with ERP systems and HyperionAdvanced skills in the use of SAP, HFM, MS Excel and CorpTax are strongly preferredSalary Range: 151000 - 226400Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
