To learn more about Akima, visit .Akima is seeking a talented, self-motivated digital marketing specialist to join the marketing team. The digital marketing specialist's role is to design, create, and deliver marketing tactics and programs that drive awareness of the Akima brand and the services we provide. A successful candidate will be proficient in digital media/advertising, social media, graphics, and web development. This includes, but is not limited to, creating and executing digital marketing campaigns, managing the corporate website, analyzing and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing tactics, and evaluating emerging technologies.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Plan, develop and execute digital programs and campaigns, including online advertising, website strategy and design, social media, mobile, and all deliverablesManage third party vendor relationships, day-to-day production, as well as campaign budgets and schedulesEnsure consistent branding in accordance with established brand guidelinesDevelop a deep understanding of the business and inform marketing plans and programs in support of business and sales stakeholder objectivesWrite effective copy in a variety of styles for website, LinkedIn, email, etc.Create and/or re-purpose content for effective use across multiple platformsTailor text, photos, or videos to reach target audiences, ensuring that the primary message is presented in a concise, up-to-date, user-friendly formatTake longer-form content (blogs, podcasts, webinars) and convert into micro-content (short video posts, stories and emails)Develop appropriate milestones and schedules, and ensure timely and successful delivery of initiativesClearly communicate progress and outcomes to relevant stakeholders in a timely mannerCreate, proofread, and distribute email marketing through a content management system; andAssist in the creative development of other web-based projects that support the Department's strategic recruitment goalsRegularly review website for SEO, content, and performance improvementsCollaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experienceServe as point of contact for all website technical issues and work with third party on priority bug fixes, performance improvements, design/site updates, and troubleshootingDesign and produce webpages using HubSpot, WordPress, Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite softwareMonitor and manage the website info mailboxManage corporate social media accounts - Responsible for developing, publishing, tagging, and scheduling all content across social media channels, ensuring that all content has been approved and is aligned with brand guidelinesMeasure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on website traffic, campaigns, and popular content across all digital platformsQualificationsBachelor's degree in marketing or a related fieldHands-on digital marketing experience using industry tools and systems such as HubSpot and Microsoft CRM (or similar systems)Proven experience delivering effective and innovative digital campaignsSolid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret dataStrong analytical skills with ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programsProven success in managing complex and multi-faceted marketing programs with the ability to drive projects through completion and metricsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivateMaintains working knowledge of latest trends in digital marketingExperience providing a high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and deliver resultsSelf-motivated yet customer-focusedDesired Qualifications:Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industryDemonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaignsExperience in optimizing landing pages and user funnelsWorking knowledge of ad serving toolsDemonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environmentExperience tying marketing programs to ROI metrics3+ years of marketing or related experience.1+ year of experience using a CRMThe duties and responsibilities listed in this job description generally cover the nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
