They provide acquisition planning support, identify and document future system architecture and Concept of Operations (CONOPS), functional and tradecraft requirements, security requirements and create or update systems requirements documents and interface control documents.Responsibilities include:Guides Mid-level and Junior-level systems engineers performing requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across the NSG, ASG and Federal AgenciesGuides the planning, analysis/traceability of user requirements, architectures traceability, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review cloud service capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitationsGuides Mid-level and Junior-level systems engineers developing solution designs based on analysis of requirements and new technologyAssists the Government in the capture and translation of mission and customer requirements/needs into systems/capability requirements and solutions, execution of requirements derivation, decomposition and definitionSupports the analyses and allocation of requirements to systems architecture components and executing programsPerforms systems integration activitiesConducts Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Actions (CoAs), Trade Studies and Engineering AssessmentsAssists the Government in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management and interface designOperates at the level of integrating multiple systems, services, processes and interfaces within a Major Systems Acquisition across organizational and agency boundariesQualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher in Systems Engineering or other Engineering degree program, or related equivalent additional experience16+ years of experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, execution of requirements derivation, decomposition and definitions for IC IT systems, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructuresDemonstrated experience with and understanding of systems engineering lifecycleMinimum one (1) year of experience in NGA sensor integrationMinimum one (1) year verification analysis, testing and analysis of requirements related to IC IT systemsMinimum one (1) year of industry and/or government experience with Requirements, derivation, decomposition and definition as well as INCOSE characteristics of good software requirementsFamiliarity with spectral tools, ELTs and capabilities to include an understanding of product specifications and their role in tool ingestDesired Qualifications:Masters degree in Systems Engineering or other Engineering degree programDemonstrated experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), processes, tools and languagesDemonstrated experience with Software Development FrameworksINCOSE Certified Systems engineering Professional (CSEP) certificationDemonstrated experience within the field of GEOINTDemonstrated experience with developing product specifications for compatibility with NSG toolsLicensed as a professional engineerMembership or leadership participation in any of the following professional organizations:ACSMASCEASPRSINCOSEOGCSAREMUSGIFDemonstrated experience in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics or related fieldsDemonstrated experience of the current NSG/ASG and MP enterprisesDemonstrated NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experienceDemonstrated IC or DoD program/project work experience
